Um empurrãozinho na criatividade.
Todos nós somos criativos. Lembra das suas brincadeiras de criança? Dos
seus desenhos? Das perguntas para seus pais?
No entanto, com o passar dos anos, a socialização e educação formal
praticada na maioria das escolas acabam nos levando a reprender muitos desses
impulsos criativos infantis. Aprendemos a ser mais maduros, mais prudentes,
mais cautelosos, mais atentos aos julgamentos alheios.
Hoje em dia, criatividade é essencial para se ter sucesso em muitas
áreas e organizações. Pesquisa recente da IBM com CEOs de todo o mundo revelou
que este é o traço mais procurado para os líderes de hoje - mais do que o
rigor, a disciplina de gestão, a integridade ou até mesmo a visão.
Em Stanford University’s “d.school”, escola criada pelo fundador da
IDEO, David Kelley, os alunos aprendem a desenvolver a sua criatividade.
Segundo seus professores, eles não aprendem a ser criativos, eles redescobrem
a creative confidence - nossa capacidade natural de chegar a novas
ideias e a coragem de implementá-las. Para isso, é usada uma abordagem que
ajuda as pessoas a superarem os medos que bloqueiam a criatividade - medo do
desconhecido, de ser julgado, de dar o primeiro passo e de perder o controle.
Para ser criativo nos negócios, segundo Tom Kelley, CEO da IDEO, é
necessário sair de trás da sua mesa e se jogar nesse mundo caótico (tudo bem,
as palavras dele não foram exatamente essas, mas a minha interpretação é essa).
É lá que você terá os melhores insights. Aventurando-se para buscar
aprendizado, fugindo do óbvio e do rotineiro. Não espere que as melhores ideias
surjam só dos seus clientes, do seu chefe, dos seus colegas e dos seus
concorrentes. Olhe para fora. Saia da zona de conforto. Não tenha medo do
desconhecido.
Criatividade é algo que você pratica, e não apenas um talento que nasce
com você.
Outro empurrãozinho é usar a metodologia Design Thinking na sua prática
de trabalho. Mas quero falar mais disso em outros posts.
